Began the day one player down & my thanks to Winglam for turning up at short notice.
Lost the toss again & Miskin decided to bat due to waiting on players to arrive.On a very mossy wicket opened with uncle Jason & Chris Haggerty & it was evident from the start that the young batsmen of Miskin were going for thier shots with opener S.Maisey scoring 62.He could have been caught early on but Patrick at mid off decided to carry out his ballerina twirl before unfortunately not taking the chance.Continued with a rota of bowlers with Tome Gane being the best of the younsters taking is first wicket in senior cricket (5-0-18-1).Uncle Jason was the best bowler of the day with figures of (9-1-14-1).
The Miskin batsmen continued to pile on the runs with a final score of 249 for 5.
Continued after tea with Captain Dirk & Tom Darling with both batsmen getting out early.But our next two batsmen continued to build an innings with Rhys Norville (32) & Uncle Jason (29).We continued to loose wickets quite regulary & we were all out for 121.
Our fielding could have been a lot better with chances being missed with the omission of Andrew Gane who fielded really well.
